Faber Birren papers 1924-1935

Faber Birren (1900- ) was a color consultant to industry and the U.S. government. He wrote books on color theory and also works of fiction. Collection consists of typescripts of Birren's writings, photographs, and printed ephemera about Birren. Original typescripts, some with drawings, include novels, short stories, essays, and critical materials on the nature and theory of color. Also, autobiographical notes and bibliography prepared by Birren, photographic portraits and printed ephemera related to his career.
